Just like any other medium, spray cans have different properties as to how colour is applied to a surface.
The closer you hold the can to a surface, the smaller and more concentrated the paint will be sprayed. The further you hold the can from the surface, the greater the coverage area will be, however the further away you are from the surface the coverage area isn’t as opaque.
I love the way the paint hits it’s surface, the tilt of the can, the path of your line, the satisfaction of every splat and drip exactly where it needs to be all while listening to ‘boom bap beats’
